The Arran 10-Year-Old is a cornerstone of the Isle of Arran Distillery’s core range, celebrated for its superb balance and approachable complexity. Matured for a decade in a combination of first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels and Sherry hogsheads, this single malt is bottled at a robust 46% ABV, is non-chill filtered, and has no added artificial coloring, ensuring a pure and authentic taste experience.
On the nose, expect bright and inviting aromas of fresh citrus (especially lemon and orange zest), subtle vanilla sweetness, and a touch of green apple, underpinned by delicate oak spices. The palate is wonderfully creamy and well-rounded, delivering flavors of sweet malty biscuit, juicy orchard fruits, more vanilla, and a gentle hint of cinnamon and nutmeg. The finish is medium in length, clean, and satisfying, leaving a pleasant warmth and lingering notes of sweet spice and a whisper of coastal air.
