Grant's blended Scotch comes from William Grant & Sons, set up by William Grant in Dufftown, Speyside, in 1887. The family still owns the business, which also makes Glenfiddich.
The core Grant's blend is Triple Wood, matured in three kinds of cask: virgin oak, American oak and refill bourbon barrels. Each cask adds its own layer, from spice to vanilla to brown sugar.
The Grant's Range at Liquor Club
We stock three Grant's bottles. Grant's Triple Wood comes in 700ml, with vanilla, honey and apple notes. Grant's in a 1L bottle is the larger size for regular mixing, with malt sweetness and light fruit. Grant's Smoky (1L) adds peated whisky for a smoky edge with caramel and spice. How to Enjoy Grant's
Grant's is built for mixing. A whisky highball with chilled soda water and a lemon twist shows off the fruit, while ginger ale and lime makes a good long drink. Try Grant's Smoky in a Penicillin-style mix with honey, lemon and ginger, or simply over ice with cloudy apple juice.
