Church Road Rose comes from the Matapiro Vineyard in the Crownthorpe Terraces sub-region of Hawke's Bay, New Zealand. This elevated vineyard sits approximately 200 metres above sea level on old river terraces, where cool nights and warm days create ideal conditions for retaining aromatics and acidity. Church Road is one of New Zealand's oldest wineries, with a history dating back to 1897.

Church Road Rose pairs exceptionally well with shellfish, crab, and lobster dishes. The wine's fresh acidity and red berry fruit flavours also complement other seafood preparations, grilled prawns, and light salads.
