Little Giant Shiraz opens with intense aromas of ripe blackcurrant, black cherry and pencil shavings, layered with dark plum, rosemary and chocolate. The palate is full-bodied and dry, delivering rich blackberry and blackcurrant fruit balanced by savoury eucalyptus, coffee and truffle notes. The finish is medium length with lingering dark fruit and a gentle savoury grip.

Little Giant Shiraz is produced by Fourth Wave Wine from fruit sourced in the Light Pass sub-region of the Barossa Valley in South Australia. Light Pass is one of the Barossa's most celebrated areas, known for producing concentrated, structured Shiraz from warm days and cool nights. This wine showcases classic Barossa regional character with bold fruit and savoury complexity.

Little Giant Shiraz pairs beautifully with grilled lamb chops, beef brisket, slow-cooked stews and aged cheddar cheese. The full body and savoury notes also complement hearty mushroom dishes, roasted vegetables and rich tomato-based pasta sauces. The wine's ripe fruit and smooth texture make it versatile across many meat and cheese-based meals.

This Barossa Shiraz complements rich, savoury dishes with robust flavours. Think char-grilled steaks, braised short ribs, venison casserole or lamb shanks. The wine's chocolate and coffee notes also work well with barbecue flavours, while the eucalyptus edge suits herb-crusted roasts. It's equally at home with strong cheeses like mature cheddar or Manchego.

Serve Little Giant Shiraz at 16-18°C in a large red wine glass to allow the aromas to fully express themselves. If the wine is slightly cooler, allow it to warm in the glass for a few minutes. A 30-minute decant before serving will help the wine open up and reveal its full complexity, particularly the savoury and spice notes.
