Sazerac launched Mango Shotta in May 2023 as a new shot brand, taking its cue from the mangonada, a Mexican treat of mango, chamoy and chilli. The label describes it as tequila with natural flavours. The idea is simple: sweet, juicy mango up front, then the warmth of jalapeño and a hint of savoury spice. At 26% it sits between a sweet liqueur and a full-strength tequila, which keeps it easy to share as a round of shots. The 750ml bottle is the party size, good for a group or a Mexican food night.
