Mt Difficulty Roaring Meg Rosé opens with voluminous, perfumed aromas of strawberry, raspberry and subtle floral notes. The palate is plush and ripe, delivering a core of strawberry and red cherry flavours with a satin-smooth mouthfeel balanced by fine natural acidity. The finish is fresh and crisp with a lovely balance of fruit, acidity and restrained sweetness.

This rosé is produced by Mt Difficulty from Pinot Noir grapes grown in the Bannockburn sub-region of Central Otago, New Zealand's most southerly wine region. Mt Difficulty owns some of the oldest vineyards in Bannockburn, established in the early 1990s. Central Otago is internationally recognised as one of the few places outside Burgundy where Pinot Noir thrives.

Mt Difficulty Roaring Meg Rosé pairs beautifully with shellfish, crab and lobster, where its crisp acidity complements the delicate sweetness of seafood.
