Pepperjack Shiraz offers rich, concentrated flavours of ripe blackberry and dark plum, layered with dark chocolate and mocha. The wine's signature characteristic is its cracked black pepper spice, which runs through the palate and finish. Smooth, well-integrated tannins provide structure while maintaining an approachable, fruit-forward style.

Pepperjack Shiraz is produced in the Barossa Valley, one of Australia's most celebrated wine regions known for rich, full-bodied reds. The wine is crafted by Saltram Wine Estate, which was established in 1859 and is based in Angaston. Since its release in 1996, Pepperjack Shiraz has become Australia's number one red wine by value.

Pepperjack Shiraz pairs exceptionally well with grilled or roasted red meats, particularly ribeye steak, lamb shanks, and venison. The wine's richness and peppery spice also complement mature cheddar, blue cheese, spicy salami, and barbecue dishes. Its bold character stands up beautifully to hearty, flavourful preparations.
